The Lowcountry features plenty of style, fashion and fun this weekend. There's a LEGO festival for the kids, another festival for your pets, and a 5K to push you to the limits.
Charleston Fashion Week
Designers and models are putting their best foot forward during shows for the annual Charleston Fashion Week.
The five-night fashion celebration features more than 35 runway shows under the tents in Marion Square. Fashion Week events run Wednesday through Saturday, culminating with the 2017 CFW Emerging Designer Competition Grand Prize Winner.
Pet Fest
Charleston County Parks is ready to help pamper your pets at a two-day festival devoted to four-legged friends.
Pet Fest 2017 is Saturday and Sunday at Palmetto Islands County Park in Mount Pleasant. Pet-related business and rescue groups will showcase their products, services, and adoptable animals from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days.
Brick Fest Live
The largest touring LEGO show lands at the North Charleston Coliseum this weekend.
Brick Fest Live LEGO Fan Experience is a hands-on, interactive festival to encourage imagination and creativity. LEGO lovers can admire giant sculptures and even build their own.
The event is open Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Highlights include popular YouTube LEGO show hosts, collaborative projects, Brick Fest Derby, mini-golf, a video game arena, and trivia challenges. Vendors will also be selling new and vintage LEGO sets.

Charleston Symphony Designer Showhouse
Nearly two dozen award-winning designers have each put their unique stamp on a house on Society Street in downtown Charleston.
The Charleston Symphony Orchestra League's annual Designer Showhouse is now open through April 15th. The 1840s home at 36 Society Street in the Ansonborough has been had a complete and eclectic makeover. The 40th annual Designer Showhouse is a fundraiser to benefit the Charleston Symphony Orchestra and CSOL music scholarships.
The Designer Showhouse is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 1 to 4 p.m. on Sundays. Tickets are $25 online or at the door. The ticket gives you access to all the designer rooms, the exclusive boutique, and cafe.

Festival of Houses and Gardens
If you ever wanted to peek behind the walls and fences of homes in the historic districts of downtown Charleston, the next month is your best chance.
The 70th annual Festival of Houses and Gardens provides tours of private homes in downtown Charleston. Tours are offered daily through April 22. The tours and neighborhoods vary each day.

Rugged Maniac 5k Obstacle Course Race
If a 5K run through the streets is too tame for you, the Rugged Maniac 5K at Boone Hall Plantation could be just the right challenge.
The Obstacle Course race features towers to climb, a massive water slide, mud pits, underground tunnels and plenty of other challenges to get you dirty and push you to the limit. After it's over, fellow racers join together for an all-day festival party.
The race starts at 9:45 a.m. Saturday. The check-in tent opens at 9 a.m. and racers are encouraged to arrive an hour ahead of their scheduled start time.

Habitat for Humanity Donation Drop-off
Dorchester Habitat for Humanity needs the community's help to "Stuff the Truck" with donations.
The Habitat ReStore truck will be parked at the Summerville Lowe's on Dorchester Road from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. Everyone is asked to drop-offs new and gently used items such as furniture, tools, clothing, appliances and electronics.
