When I think about Coachella I think of flower crowns, cultural appropriation, and plenty of eye-rolls. However, once my eyes are back to their place and I move pass the mess that music festivals have become, I then think about, boots. Not just any boots, though. Boots that are meant to get you by every music festival (including Coachella) looking and feeling great. Yes, socks and chunky sandals make for a great outfit, but the thought of having people step on and spill their drink all over my poor toes, well it’s a no from me.
This year, as a first timer at Coachella, I’m really into taking just one pair of boots (let’s see how that goes) that go well with all my pre-planned outfits. Not only is it efficient and doesn’t take that much space in my suitcase, but depending on the boot style you choose, you can really take your outfit to a whole new level. For example, if the music festival trend you’re leaning into is little house on the prairie but don’t want to look like you came out of the 1800s, instead of choosing a cowboy boot, you can spice up your outfit by opting for a pair of platform combat boots, or if you have a denim on denim look and want to go full on yeehaw, then cowboy boots it is.
